I am trying the Netflix free trial for a month, and noticed quite a few anime titles and other shows I want to get through. I've been aware of the series Sgt Frog, but I have never actually seen it.
I don't think I've seen a funnier anime series since Excel Saga. The characters are cute, some of the people are insane, and the high octane combination pooled with breaking the 4th wall and pop culture references brought a joy to my face. One of my favorite scenes is when the red frog pops a grenade in Kerero's mouth. I nearly lost it.
It's a great series to watch. I highly recommend it. My favorite character is Tamama, the dark blue frog.
