Games by Award

A friend was telling me how controversial number scales are now-a-days with regards to video games. Does a 5 mean average, or abysmal? It really depends on the reviewer and what they set forth as criteria, but still some people are bugged by it. So what can we do? Well, we can look at the top percentage of games as well. The top 10% in my database will receive a platinum, the next ten percent a gold, then silver, then bronze, so on and so forth. So where to the games fall?

I am surprised that two Zelda games earned Bronze scores- but then again there is a lot of competition. Is Nintendo moving backwards with the Zelda franchise? time will tell. This list represents the top 40% of games in my database, out of a current total of 153 games. The list will grow over time, and games may change or jockey for positions.
