Woah ho ho, got a VERY nice grad gift! This is one of Gateway's 2gig+ RAM 200 GB Hard-drive 2 GHz Processor machines. I opened up the package this morning before I went to work, and actually got to play with my new PC (I totally forgot the entire day!) when I got home. It was fantastic that I got it working. It came with Windows Vista, an OS I have never worked with before. The interface was easy to understand, and if I wanted to do something complex, the help menu found what I needed.
Wireless devices (camera, wireless mouse) plugged in and worked flawlessly. Even better, it connected itself to my internet network, just like my Nintendo Wii did! One step higer, the laptop has bluetooth capability, which will allow me to fully harnass and utilize the Penn State network. Fun laptop, should run some of my games smoother than this home PC I have, but I intend it to be a work computer.
