Hyrule Historia: Official Canon of the Legend of Zelda, Part I

Translations are becoming available of Nintendo's Hyrule Historia, a History of the Legend of Zelda series. Already it has told us a plethora of information that confirms some theories we had. I will compile the information here, while providing the original text for your reading.

(warp over to the end of Ocarina of Time)
With the Great King of Evil defeated in Hyrule B, Princess Zelda thanks Link and apologizes to him for getting him involved. She asks for the Ocarina of Time back, and returns Link to his original time so that he could live his life. She plays Zelda's Lullaby and sends him back in time. Please note that there is now NO LINK in Hyrule B. She sends him to a Hyrule A like before, that has no Link, and now has a Link.

The time of his seven year sleep in the Sacred Realm had been reversed. Link returned to the Temple of Time to the chamber of the Master Sword. He had been returned to a time before he collected the Spiritual Stones, touched the Master Sword, OR talked to Princess Zelda, but to a time where he already likely talked to Saria and received his Fairy Ocarina. Navi left there in the Temple of Time out the window. With the Door of Time shut, Link likely played the Prelude of Light to warp around the door to the front of the temple. If not, he passed around it another way.

Link went through the motions of the Courtyard again. He went to talk to Zelda, and just like before, she was watching Ganondorf through the window. This time however, he talked to her about his adventures in the future, and what had happened. She listened, and to prevent Ganondorf from pulling his stunt of following Link around as he opened the Door of Time, Zelda gave the Ocarina of Time to Link for protection.

Going through the motions of the beginning of Hyrule B, this Link explicitly had the Triforce of Courage, as stated in Hyrule Historia. It explains that since Link went through his future adventure, and Ganondorf was sealed away in another time with the Triforce of Power that he had the Triforce of Courage when Ganondorf split the Triforce originally in Hyrule B. He accepted the burden of protecting the Ocarina, and borrowed Epona from Lon Lon Ranch. He set off to look for his lost friend, Navi (we never know if he finds her.) After several months of wondering around in a mysterious forest on the outskirts of Hyrule, he becomes lost and crosses over into what is seemingly a multiverse of Hyrule; officially, a parallel universe known as Termina.
