Speculation and dreaming are always fun! Over the past couple of days I have been speculating in my mind about what they will cover in Zelda: Skyward Sword.
Originally, it was stated that the Master Sword was created by the sages to be "the blade of evil's bane". The Master Sword had a second purpose- it acted as a key into the sacred realm, AND it allowed the Hero or Time to ascend (or descend) through a period of 7 years, as determined by "the Hero of Time's readiness of age".
It seems a little confusing that the Master Sword was originally the Skyward Sword. It is said that the Skyward Sword posesses intelligence and that it is in itself a sort of spirit [This adds to the credibility that the Master Sword has a mind of its own- it can banish evil, and only lets certain people touch it]. To my point: If the Skyward Sword becomes the Master Sword, what led to the transition from Skyward to Master? Why was the change needed? what does this have to do with Hyrule? the triforce? the sages? Does Skyloft have anything to do with the Gods? What connection does Skyloft have to the Hylian race, if any?
Something tells me that Shigeru Miyamoto, in his own mind, and with his team, are also Zelda nuts. Lore wise, I am very excited about this new Zelda game. They said it is going to be fully orchestrated too! no MIDI!
...WAIT. When did Link get pants??? Am I missing something here? I must be.

Yeah this is kind of nice, because in this game will know the real story before the master sword and how the first generation of the hero of time and hero of winds starts the quest of destroy evil and save hyrule many times.
I will like the second part of the story of twilight princess, because personally Midna it's a great second character.
