I've meant to start this project for a while and finally I can get off to a start on it. The USS Yorktown (CV-10) was a WWII aircraft carrier of the United States Navy. This model is of the SECOND USS Yorktown and not the first one, which was sunk. The Uss Yorktown is being escorted by the USS North Carolina (BB-55). This is my first waterline build so we will see how it goes.
Originally I thought the build would be difficult, however now that I have tweezers it shouldn't be a hard task. I will be painting both ships in their respective battle camoflauges and I will post more when I can get some work done on the project. Now onto finishing my art project.....
