Woooo that plastic weld is STRONG stuff. Got the hull together and the decks are permanently welded to the hull. The ship is beginning to come together: The deck, smoke stack, batteries, and the hull are all complete. I spent almost all day today attending to detail, and the hull waterling needs touchup in one or two spots, then I won't be needing to touch it again. I'm pushing for final construction this week: The masts are in paint now, and once attached I will finish up all final details, seal the model in a flat dullcoat, then rig the kit. After that, she's done!
