Sprayed a bit more deck tan on the decks, and the natural gray under the deck tan makes the tan really look rustic in nature, and I love the way the kit is coming out. This kit, other than the hull hasn't really been giving me any problems. My next tour of duty is to paint the end of the main battery barrels: so far the painting is going ok but I missed a few spots. Im planning on hitting Hobbytown USA tomorrow to pick up some paint, but this time go at it carefully with a brush and delicate hand. I may as well pick up a few laquer metallizers too to work on the plank details. Actually, I heard about this cool goop that acts as an ultimate masking material, and I want to try that on the anchor chains near the front of the ship to get some nice detail going for it. More to come as I can work on this thing done...
