BB-39 Deck Work, Hull Paint
Removed the tape this evening to check the waterline, and the paint did NOT come out how I wanted it to >_>. There was paint seepage despite using the "clear coat" technique by spraying clear coat over the tape to seal it. The top was sealed very well, and I had no paint seepage at the top of the hull. I got a few sharpies, and I used one to color in the anchor chains on the front deck. The anchor chains came out really well, check out the pictures. Sadly, Im gonna have to wait for the black paint to fully dry, then clear coat it, then mask off the top from the bottom of the waterline and paint the red hull again, albeit carefully. I don't know what else to do.
